Overview: Romeo y Julieta Coronitas en Cedro

The Romeo y Julieta Coronitas en Cedro is named for its Petit Cedro vitola measuring 129 mm in length with a 40 ring gauge. These cigars were once machine made, but are now completely hand made.

These cigars are tripa larga, totalmente a mano – long filler, totally handmade using an exclusive blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

The Coronitas en Cedro begins with soft aromas of floral, cedar and a delicious nuttyness. Once lit the draw is easy and the burn is slow, allowing the harmonious blend of creamy coffee, chocolate, walnut and pepper flavours to unfold.

In the second third the strength moves from mild to medium and new flavours of vanilla, cherry and a warm cedar note come into play. The final third is herbaceous and a final blast of coffee pushes through, bringing the flavours to a medium full in strength.

This medium bodied smoke is perfectly sized for occasions, lasting around 45 minutes with easily detectable flavours and easy smoking profile, this cigar is perfect for special occasions. Try pairing it with a crisp white wine for an expertly enjoyable smoking experience.

We recommend aging this cigar for 3-4 years to allow for the complexity to develop, you will be pleasantly surprised by the depth it develops in this time.

For the price this is a good smoke, even from the initial light it is packed with flavor trust me you will smoke it till you burn your fingers.

started off harsh, smoothed out before the first third was done….second third very flavorful and last third nice and strong…..not going to take the place of a monte #4 but a very good stick!!! will let them age a bit and see if they get even better. i recommend this smoke as a good change of pace!!!

beautifully wrapped in thin cedar, flavor got that hints of typical romeo sweetness taste, medium strengh, wasn’t overwhelming, large volumes of smoke, but for a small stick with its cheap price, this is defnitely a good candidate to be a daily smoke cigar, would recommend you purchase a box to try it out for yourself.

Bought a box. Terrible draw for the first half of the stick. Practically unsmokable. Pleasant smoke after that point. Smoked it down to a nub. Nice sponge. Even burning. it was very tasty and smooth but I won’t be buying these again.
