This maduro cigar bears the Avo name, and it lives up to the Avo standard of quality that one would expect from a cigar with that name. While this cigar has a wrapper that is rougher that the silky Connecticut-shade wrappers that are synonymous to this brand, the construction is still top quality. As one would expect, this cigar burns and draws well. Upon lighting, this cigar has a peppery taste that might surprise one, but it quickly subdues. Right after the start, it blossoms into a pleasant smoke. It has a full, rich taste. The cigar burns razor sharp with a white ash; the cigar never becomes hot and always has a smooth even draw. The cigar develops into a smooth medium to full maduro, with a semi-sweet taste endowed by the dark wrapper. Hints of cherry and leather are also present throughout the smoke. It leaves a woodsy, leathery finish. Pleasant and relaxing yet somewhat fuller bodied. It is a medium bodied cigar that those who like the classic Avo line and fuller-bodied cigars will enjoy this maduro. Measures 6X50
