The Ashton 8-9-8 is quite possibly the best cigar available in the U.S. The wrapper is an indication of what you are getting. They are a nice mellow brown with no blemishes or irregularities. This cigar is nice and soft with a smooth, even burn. The draw is easy and consistent from beginning to end. It does not burn hot, even when down to a pinch between two fingers.
